I bought this phone for a senior friend of mine. I honestly don't know if it was a good choice for him or not. I just assumed a big button phone would be the way to go. However, I didn't know it had answering capabilities. I had looked up the manual on the internet and there was no mention of that feature in either the online manual I found or the product's description on ActiveForever.com. I specifically DIDN'T want a phone with that feature since my friend a.) doesn't use messaging and b.) doesn't understand how to operate a lot of technology. So, I hope, as the message function fills up, it doesn't compromise his ability to use the phone. Also I wanted a phone that didn't require power, and there was also no indication in the description that the phone requires power, which it does. Not good. Your descriptions should be better.
