Birchwood ARD ® Anoperineal Dressings

Maximum absorption, minimum bulk, self-retaining dressing for patients with anoperineal wounds.

ARD ® "tapeless" dressings are designed to maximize patient comfort and security. The unique butterfly shape helps keep the dressing comfortably in place during convalescence and normal activities, without the application of tape. The soft, smooth, lint free material is highly absorbent to wound drainage and perspiration usually associated with anorectal surgery, pruritis and other irritations. It has also proven effective with medication applied to the axillary region, under the breast, and between abdominal folds. Also excellent for Pediatric applications. Dressings may be used individually or combined for greater absorbency. The compact, safety-sealed, reclosable tray holds 24 dressings and is designed for quick, easy dispensing use. 24 dressings per tray, 12 trays per case.

Tapeless dressings are soft, smooth, lint-free and highly absorbent to rectal and vaginal wound drainage. Unique butterfly shape keeps dressing in place without tape. Can be used with medications or ointments.
