How does the SmartNav 4 Hands Free Mouse work?

The NaturalPoint SmartNav 4 Hands Free Mouse uses an infrared (IR) camera mounted on your computer monitor or laptop to track your head movements. Simply adhere one of the included reflective dots to your head, hat, glasses, mic boom, or any part of your body you wish to control the mouse with. The dots reflect the IR light to the camera, allowing it to monitor your movement and translate that to movement of the mouse cursor on your screen.
