What is Arginine?

Arginine, also referred to as L-Arginine, is found in protein-rich foods such as meat and fish. Arginine is a nitrogen-rich amino acid, with about twice the nitrogen contained in most of the other amino acids. Nitrogen is needed by the body for normal functioning and for tissue building and repair.
