PresSsion Sequential Compression Device Multi 3

The PresSsion Sequential Compression Devices are designed to limit the development of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and Peripheral Edema in immobile patients. When a patient is immobile for long periods of time, blood tends to gather in the lower area of the leg in the calf. The PresSsion Sequential Compression Devices inflate a PresSsion Compression Garment wrapped around the troubled area and stimulates blood flow, and improves venous return.

My wife had sequential garmets when she was in the hospital. She is a DVT (deep vein thrombosis) risk. We decided to order this product because when we asked her doctor about letting her have these at home, he just raised his eyebrows and then changed the subject. We know why he did this, because of the cost and not knowing if insurance would pay for it. My wife has MS and sometimes you have to do things on your own because this desiese is up to now, incurable. The initial investment is expensive but the results out way the cost. After the first time she wore them she could bend her knees and walk without pain. She is still testing the device out, and so far the results are positive.
