The seat itself is as advertised -- very sturdy. However, we have had trouble getting one of the plastic screws threaded correctly to attach it to the toilet. The rubber bumpers, though, keep it situated. Because the seat is so large, it has recessed spaces underneath -- where a conventional seat is solid -- and this makes cleaning a bit more work. Glad we have it, though.
