No, this will not leak unless you place it on a bed of nails or puncture it with some other sharp object.

It is not meant to be a storage facility for scissors, knifes, sharps, razor blades or other objects that may inadvertently come into contact with the surface of the tub. :)

The chemical kit is sold separately. You can view the actual instruction manual here and it tells you what is included.

The spa n a box version is used by the NFL for the games in London this year. They are using it for a therapy tub and will be bringing it back for the Super Bowl!

I have a quick question. How does the spa 2 go drain? I want to put it in my basement and am hoping it will drain through a tube of some type into my floor drain.

There are two ways to have your Spa2Go drained:

1. To drain your Spa2Go effectively, your spa can drain at the bottom of the tub, by using the Fill and Drain Kit found in the Spa2Go/Spa-N-A-Box Portable Spa Combo Care Kit.

2. You can use a regular garden hose to hook up to the smaller hose connectors and drain the spa that way.

Since the Spa2Go produces high temperatures, a dehumidifier is recommended or any type of natural or forced ventilation. These options will help your cellar’s surroundings from being damaged. If you click Spa2Go Manual and scroll down to page 8, you can find this information about Indoor Installation and Room Humidity.

Most of today I spend searching the internet for portable spas and your spa2go by far seems to be the one my wife and I are looking for. Something simple to assemble yet sturdy enough to withstand being moved if we wanted to. I have a couple of questions. The specs says 3-4 people but doesn't mention a weight limit. Is there a certain amount of weight that it holds.

I couldn’t tell you what the weight restrictions are per person for this spa. However I can tell you that the Spa2Go holds 250 gallons of water. Water weighs 8.33 lbs per gallon and the weight of the spa when filled is 2124 lbs. I recommend finding out what the weight capacity is for the room or deck that you plan to place the spa on. Water levels will obviously be higher if 3 to 4 people are in the Spa2Go at one time and this will cause the water to rise. I would take the weight of each person, add it to the filled weight of the spa and check it against the weight bearing structure to ensure it will sustain.
