Can this be used to lift someone who has fallen,from the floor to a chair ,bed or to a standing position ?

This lift should be able to pick up patients from the floor. However there will have to be another person present for assistance

do these come with chains or do i have to purhcase them seperately?

No need to purchase the chains separately as they come with this patient lift.
